reverse lights

ive had my truck in the dealer 3 times for the reverse lights going out. it usually goes out within a day or two after they fix it. has anybody else had this problem? i know its in the switch because i can feel it when i put it in reverse, its hard to get into reverse sometimes. could it possibly be a bad design?any input is greatly appreciated

My backup light fuse has blown twice. I plan to take it to the dealer soon. I would be interested in knowing what you find out is causing yours to blow.

just went and checked out my fuse. it was blown. that should of been the first thing that i looked at. i'm going to give the dealer one more chance to fix it . then im going to try and tackle it myself. i'll keep u updated

I've lost my backups. It'sgoing to the dealer next Friday for a new switch. I followed the service manual proceedure to verify the switch was bad and went went one step further by jumpering the switch connector and proving to myself the lights worked. Hopefully this won't be a recurring problem.
