I noticed the other day when I put my truck in reverse and stop then move to drive, I feel a slight shudder. It goes away after I get going. Any ideas?
its currently at the repair shop. they are thinking U-Joints but havent isolated the problem yet.
thanks

Chad

Not sure what that even means snoking but I sure will mention this to the shop in the morning. Much appreciated.
The shop called just before closing and said they made an adjustment to the rear ujoint? I wasn't aware they could be adjusted.

Shop says my driveshaft is shot. Needs a new one but I'm skeptical because I would have thought if it was that bad I would feel the shudder all the time.

Shot in how? Drvielines can be rebuild
, balanced, yokes and splines can be replaced. I think you are at the wrong shop. Chris

This happened to a friend of mine. Middle of traveling for a long drive for a hunting trip. Shudder showed up out of the blue. He was sold a new drive shaft and problems went away.

Not sure if it was a shady place or not?
