The guys that are running the red line box. How do you like it, would you get another one. Is it worth the money to have the high RPM, and is it a big advantage over the Edge Drag Comp.

Th RD box is great if MAX HP, drag racing, or sled pulling is your game. The RD when stacked with a timing box normally yeilds around 15 more HP than a drag comp. The box is not as street friendly as a comp, it will trigger the check engine light. On my truck HP at 4000 rpm is 100 HP less than what it makes at 3400 rpm.

If you run the box at less than 100% fueling then its street manners greatly improve... . I am in hopes that with the addition of a better cam that the HP drop from 3400 to 4000 will be less. I recommend the box for guys wanting "all out" performance! But, don't forget that to use it you also need to upgrade the valve train to handle the rpm.
