DPF gauge not going to 0%

Have SCR and DPF, is there a market for this?

I'm looking to get a Revmax VB for my 2012 3500 dually with 111k miles. I drive easy and tow at times a 15k 5th wheel. I see in the Alphaobd that I can do a transmission relearn.
Has anyone done the relearn with the Alphaobd?
I also have the MM3 programmer, I should be able to read the line pressures. Is there anything else I should know before buying?

Not sure if I should get the standard VB or Billet, new solenoid pack too? I also would get a new trans pan.

Thoughts?
Thanks guys!

I'm sure some will disagree with me on this, but you are wasting your money paying for a Revmax valve body. The only two issues with the RFE transmission valve bodies have been cross leak and accumulator plate blowout. There are new gaskets now that are plates coated with gasket material that has corrected any cross leaking. And accumulators and the heavy-duty accumulator plate are pretty much standard with all remanufactured VB's now. There are heavy-duty milled/billet bottom plates that some transmission shops offer but I think they are fixing a problem that doesn't exist in a normally driven truck. Spend the extra cash on a new pan with a drain plug and PPE offers a larger filter that already has the steel insert installed. Lastly, Amazon has the best price I've found for Mopar AFT +4 fluid. My truck held 14.5 quarts with a new deep pan and I disconnected the upper cooling line and got another couple of quarts out. There's a write-up that talks about it here on TDR. BTW, when you do the re-learn, you'll think your transmission is coming apart. It will do some crazy stuff for a few seconds.

TMyers, thanks for your thoughts. That info is good to know. I never really liked how the transmission shifted from new. Now with 111k miles, it seems to have gotten a little rougher. My big concern is when I'm coming to a brisk stop. Just before coming to a complete stop I get a bump like the TC is unlocking late. If i do a very slow stop it doesn't happen.
I've done 2 transmission fluid/filter changes about 40k miles apart.

Any other comments or advice?

You are wasting your money NOT buying a Revmax Zero Flex VB, anybody that tells you different is not doing you any favors.

None of the gaskets type fixes work as well as fixing the problem, the flex in the complete system and sloppy machining. The separator plate is only part of the problem, the channel plate is a bigger issue and it has been found that replacing it will do more than anything to address the cross leaks inherent in the stock system. A Revmax Zero Flex VB and PPE deep pan with the bigger filter will address about 90% of the inherent issues, the rest you have to dig into the trans to address. If you have wear in the SSV valve, no one but Revmax has really addressed that adequately with precision machining. One that bore wears NOTHING will keep that transmission working.

If you have issues with the shifting there is probably already issues, working correctly these transmissions shift very nicely loaded or unloaded. I would start with the Revmax VB and PPE pan to see if that makes a difference, if it doesn't you likely already have damage that is impacting the shifting.

Cerberusiam, thanks for your reply! I agree with you. Everyone I've seen has said great things about the Revmax VB. I even stopped at there facility a year ago while on vacation.
I'm getting all my ducks in a row in making sure everything I need is ready. I had to contact Alpha OBD because my truck year 2012 wasn't listed under the transmission relearn section. transmission relearn is under the engine section. Go figure. And I need to get a newer torque wrench inch pounds.
Looking to do VB in January.

The only decision to make is if leave the plug out of the VB or put it in. If you up pressures you have take the plug out so it vents correctly. When we did mine put in the new VB, PPE pan, bigger filter, did a relearns and promptly made several trips to Texas and back. It was pretty good shifting before, IO think it is great and even more positive now. The next mod will be the Transgo tuneless kit or equivalent to up the pressures. My only complaint is the down shifting off throttle with the EB on is not as aggressive as I would like.
