I'm having a heck of a time getting what should be a simple issue diagnosed which may or may not be under warranty. 2019 Ram 3500 Crew Laramie HO/Aisin DRW with Level 1 trim. I installed a super duper high end stereo system with custom A-pillar pods, 3 amps along the back cab wall behind seats, subs in removable enclosure under rear seats and a window mounted Dash cam (Blackvue).
After that I had intermitten TPMS readings on dash and then nothing, not a single one. Hooked up Snap-On scanner tool which only had 2018 software but was able to see the TPMSensors and their respective readings. Cycled power and nada. I've also had intermittent key fob recognition, usually telling me fob isn't present when I just got back into the truck and its still in my pocket. I also get the monthly status report from the Uconnect Guardian App and it also shows TPM readings (as in range with a psi value)
Take it to second dealer since first wanted to sit on their lot for days before even hooking up diagnostic tool, second dealer did so within 1-2 hours of appt, however got the readings to populate on dash and then they dropped. Day plus later STAR says to disconnect all the aftermarket amps as tech indicates there's a module on the back cab wall,.....I don't think so but I didn't totally tear interior out myself to see such.
Anyone here knowledgeable of where the RF/Body control module is located in my truck? I'm betting it's not in the rear of the cab, I know earlier 4th gens had it above the parking brake on fire wall.
Also anyone used this website for a Factory repair manual? I've always had manuals to every one of my vehicles, but it's rare I replace/upgrade. https://www.factoryrepairmanuals.co...tory-service-manual-usb-original-shop-repair/
Thank you in advance.
