AZ. Residential Propane $3.47 Gal.??!!

Starting to get cold

What a horror show! Like BGlidewell I was about to contact Rickson and drop a pantload of cashola... about $3K... on a new wheel and tire set. Fuggedabowd it!

Instead, I'm e-mailing Rickson tonight and asking them to publicly reply to morbius' comments and to the wise analysis offered by SRath. And I'll copy Robert Patton; if the quality and service has declined as much as some claim, we TDR members are owed a review and evaluation by a TDR staffer.

2008 2500 SRW 6. 7 manual 4x4,3. 73, Downeaster flatbed w/white oak stickbox, all Amsoil, BriteBox, Uniden CB, EGR issues finally resolved by Dodge and dealer (Milford,NH)

So a little update ...

Its now been a year and still no trim rings, no resolution. They gave the credit card company interesting information so of course I was denied my claim. I am still waiting for the refund of charging my card 1 month in advance prior to shipping. The owner stated I would be refunded the interest charges but that has not happened either.

Meanwhile, went to rotate my tires again and more of the power coating has come off the mounting area. I can wipe bits and pieces off with a shop towel. The wheels have an interesting look with the exposed metal and rust round the bolt flange black power coating everywhere else. Using a compressed air blows bits and pieces of the coating right off ..... As the rust and moisture works its way across, more issues will arise. Oh well.

I gave up, they won, just not worth it anymore. Its my fault, its the "odd ball situation", blessed with a very special order from them. The silence from them speaks volumes. I will not purchase from them again and do not recommend them.

Best of luck.

small claims is usually $5k and under. (in TX its now 10K)

It should only cost about 100-200 to sue and serve them papers
small claims is meant for two party with no lawyers. so you don't have to be a lawyer.
(don't forget to add your court costs in the claim)

I would do it, it would finally give you leverage to hopefully wake the up.

Just because you win in small claims court does not mean you collect. Collections is another process and hassle ..... More money that would have to be spent on them. Somehow I think they are experienced at dealing with that issue also ... . Just not worth it, they are not worth it.

I found the customer service at Rickson to be very responsive and friendly and my Ricksons were purchased used.

And I like them very much!
