Getting ready to add air horns & a 12V compressor system to my truck & am browsing Rickson Truck. I found these on-board air systems. http://www.ricksontruck.com/airhorns_installation.html
Looks like a good system & I've heard of the Thomas Compressors but I don't recall exactly what I've heard...
I've also been looking at an air horn system at Camping World. http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index. cfm?skunum=3917&src=SRQB
What I'm thinking I would like to do is order a Rickson Compressor system & then order a Hadley horn like this one or the equivilant from Ricksons. The horn I like is here... http://www.hadley-products.com/catalog/Catalog.aspx?cmd=prd&div=3&cat=52&prd=14
I believe the Camping World system is the one shown on the Hadley site above. I don't want to knock the Hadley System but the compressor looks kinda small. I DO want to be able to fill up my air bags & possibly a tire if I need to & was told by another member on TDR that it takes his pump 4-5 minutes to fill a 1 or so gallon tank.
Sorry it's such a long post but I NEED SOME HELP!
TIA,
Clay
