Hello all you rich guys;) . I'm over here thinking about buying a new 03 to replace my 95 12 valve that was wrecked and may or may not be fixable. Anyway I decided to look and took a drive in a new 3500 single rear wheel HO and really like it.

Anyway, for a very first question in this forum... I'm debating between a 2500 and 3500 SRW - what are the differences? Is there a difference in ride height on the 4x4s? Higher the better as far as I'm concerned. How big of tires can be put on these without a lift kit?

I'm open to all advice.

Take care

Blake

I think the 3500 are about 1" higher than the 2500. Do a search on here and you find what tires they are putting on.

They are putting 315/70r17 BFG's on stock rims and stock height. If you go wider rims then they are saying you need the 2" leveling kit that works on the gen2's 1 major difference between 2500 and 3500 is the 3500 has overload springs and they are not available on the 2500's. the 3500 was only like $500. 00 more than a 2500 as well. You also get a higher GVWR. I am going with a 3500 QC SB HO/48RE
