I've always wondered why later model Rams are set up with a "nose-down" attitude compared to older models. This looks even goofier on 2wd trucks, IMHO. I called Les Schwab about 1" spacers to put in the front, then I want to remove the 1" spacers between the springs and axle in the rear. I noticed the pre '98 2wd Rams have no spacers. Les Schwab only carries a 2" front coil spring spacer, which is more than I want to lift it.

Does anyone know of a leveling kit or source for spacers that come in a variety of sizes?

Thanks,
Vaughn

Vaughn, I just lowered the rearend 2" by changing the shackles which cost me about $65. Now the truck is level and a little easier for wife to get in back.

George,
I hadn't though of the shackles. Where did you pick them up at? Sounds like the easiest solution.

Another consideration: did you have to re-aim your headlights? Anyone know how to do this? They'll probably be pointed up too high after dropping the rear 2". Also, I'll have to adjust/shorten the rod for the rear ABS height sensor.
