right pull

I have a right pull on my truck. I'm going to give my dealer the spec's, that I found on past posts. Do the specifications found on the post work?

Right pull? Is it a brake pull or alignment. Everyone of my friends who drive Rams have the famous right brake pull. I myself, have had my truck back to the 5 star dimwits countless times for the problem where they even claim the so called mystery man factory rep, who I have never been aloud to meet or talk with, have all driven my truck and on several ocasions almost caused wrecks on the freeway due to the problem, claim that there "is no problem". You got to love these guys. Its like every repair that is done on my truck is coming out of their pocket. My truck will never be 100%, but once I took it upon myself and drove to the local front end/brake shop and PAID $$$, the problem has been 50% corrected. My guess is if you pull your right tire off you will find a spacer between the wheel and the rotor. Thats Chryslers way of saying "we fvcked up" and don't want to spend the bucks to fix the problem. I would like to know how many people have had accidents due to this problem or worse yet, died. . I myself have been involved in an accident due to the problem. It wasnt my fault since the person turned in front of me, but had my truck not done the "hey, Im gonna pull to the right" deal, I would have missed the person and everyone would have been fine. Yes, this is my last Dodge. Amen

Mine had a constant front end pull to the right (my brakes have always been straight and true). Anyway, took it to a front end guy I know and he fixed it no problem. He did tell me that on the alignment machine it looked ok but then he took it for a drive and #ad
So he put it back on the rack and just started cranking on it until he could drive it down the highway and it steered straight. I think that's the problem a lot of people run into going to the dealer for front end problems. The dealer puts it on the machine and as long as it looks "in spec" on the machine, they're not going to touch it. My advice: take it to a front end shop you trust and let them do the work. It doesn't cost that much and will be more than worth it in saving yourself the headache of trying to argue with a dealership.

The braking is strait, it is the alignment. its been in once and still pulls to the right. On 12-21, the dealer will try it again. I pulled up the alignment specs from an old post and I will give it to my dealer. hopefully this will end the pull.

Hey Ron,

Thanks for the information. I have never though of the brakes causing the constant pull. I did notice alot of brake dust on the right frount wheel. I'll have my dealer check this out also.
