RIP Charlie Daniels!

Friends,

Heard the sad news today Charlie Daniels has passed away. What a giant in the music world, both literally and musically. I've been a fan since they formed the band and still enjoy Uneasy Rider, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Still in Saigon, Long Haired Country Boy, and In America to name a few.

Guess I'm going to the mancave this evening, have some Jack Daniels, play some Charlie Daniels, and remember all the great times I enjoyed thanks to his music.

It is a sad moment.
He was a favorite on twitter for me. Everyday he would “pray for the blue” remind his followers about veteran suicide and also about “Benghazi ain’t going away”. There was a movement a couple hours ago to cause this to trend on Twitter and I participated. I’m gonna miss him.
