Rip Rook exhaust??

Have a question concerning Rip's 'shorty mufferless' exhaust kit. I like the dumping in front of the rear wheel AND the price is VERY nice too.



Any comments on it... I know everyone seems to like his stuff and prices.



This is for an '04 305/555.

Saying my 12v is louder than yours is an understatement. That being said I started with the shorty with muffler. I loved the sound. The wife hated it. Had to convert to the standard muffler system. She hated the loud turbo whistle at her ears. From the driver's seat the sound was awesome. The shorty was also great for aiming at obnoxious ricer's

your truck already has 4 inch you don't need new exhaust system just replace muffler look into aero turbine, eliminator pipe and a polished stainless tip

Well last time I checked the '04 (305/555) has 3. 5" from the turbo to the muffler and then 4" from the muffler back. It was the '04. 5 (600) trucks that started having 4" from the turbo back. I really do not want to mess with the stock exhaust... if I'm going to change anything it will be the whole thing. I did it on my first '04 and just haven't taken the time to mess with this one yet.



The shorty setup doesn;t specify a year... should it bolt up to my '04 (of course I know I could e-mail or call Rip... I'm just lazy since I'm here already)

Yes, 305-555 will have 3. 5" through the muffler.



I can't commnet on the shorty, I've got the full length kit but I like it
