Rip Rook's exhaust install....done..

Floor It and I started about 5:45 this evening and at 8:30 we were done! I called Rip before I started, he told me what went where, and then we jumped in. Piece of cake. Everything fit perfectly! And it sounds GREAT!!! A little loud while using the gas pedal, but while cruising, a little more than stock. I can live with it easily, kinda like hearing the turbo whistle thru the exhaust also! Drone??? What drone???

The big test will be when the little woman rides in it, but I don't think she will mind at all.

Hats off to Rip for a great product, great service and communications!!!!

How can one go about actually *hearing* one of these great-sounding exhausts? Here in Houston, if anyone has a Rip Rook exhaust, I don't know about it.



Anyone have any sound clips posted anywhere?

If you ever get up around the Kansas City area, you can listen to mine. It has a DEEP sound when accelerating but is fairly quiet when cruising. It is loud driving around bvut if you keep your foot out of it, the police will leave you alone. I LIKE IT!!!

It has a nice deep tone and is still quieter than a straight pipe. The 5" S/S tip makes it look cool, and changes the tone a bit.

Go for 5 inch system it is great!!!!

You can get it for less than most others 4 inch cost.

Sound is great no drone and quiet in the cab. Or leave the muffler off if you really like it LOUD :--)

I may not put a muffler on, I like it so far!! It is awesome sounding. The little woman went for a ride after it was on (didnt tell her about it), and she didnt say a thing. My powerstroke buds heard it yesterday and they are wanting to know how to make theirs sound like that. I told them to call Rip...
