Any air intakes for the 600's yet

Mach 3s at altitude

I ordered a set of Mach 2's from Rip/Don. Rip said if I don't like them he'd take them back. I ran them for about 600 miles and made lots of adjustments to try and get the smoke and EGT's under control. ------------didn't want to but, I called Rip and told him about my situation.

Without hesitation he said send them back and we'll get you what you want. ------------Today, I just installed a new set of 1. 5's, smoke is less and egt's are about 50* better. Not a whole bunch of difference, but I'm happy.

We all do business with vendors, some good and some bad. Just wanted to post this on their behalf. I couldn't have gotten any better service.

Way to go Rip and Don!!!:D

lpearson,

I ran into the same problem with a set of Mach1s, and my lack of intercooling. I called Rip, and asked him how much they were supposed to smoke, and what EGTs were supposed to do. We talked it over, and RIP offered to have a new set made that flow stock, and I said ok, I'll try it. I was happy with the power the stockers made, but they were in bad shape, and I was looking to improve MPGs. So the sotck flow EDMs went in, and I gained about 2 mpg; reduced EGTs across the board, smoke cleared up considerably; basically what I was looking for in the Mach1s. Though when the new head goes on this summer, and I get an intercooler, I may go for some 1. 5s or 2s.

I'll second that Rip is a great guy to deal with.

I think Don Morrison is with Formula 1 Diesel; correct me if I'm wrong.

Rip Rook is the man! He has always MORE than taken care of my needs. It's rare that I find something cheaper than he can get it for me, and now he gets my business anyway. A few bucks I may rarely save here and there isnt worth the service Rip gives.

What, are you listening to the voices in my head and just typing what they say? :D

My sentiments exactly... don't even call around for price comparisons anymore. Rip just gives it to me straight, and I send the check... doesn't get better than that!

Rip spent a long time with me on the phone, and was VERY helpful. Then he promptly put together a fuel line kit, and got it to me quick.

I will make the trip North & he will be the one installing my custom "Rip Rook" exhaust system - No question.

Rip Rook and Don Morrison

I purchased my set of F1 Mach 1. 75s (to replace my DD3s) through Rip's recent group buy. Although I just received them late last week and had to work the weekend, I haven't been afforded the opportunity to install them yet. However, I can comment on both the excellent pre-customer service I received from both Rip and Don before my purchase. As I chose to somewhat down-size my injectors (for specific reasons), I detailed all of my data as well as my intentions/hopeful expectations for my next set of injectors to both Don as well as Rip. Both took their time and answered each of my questions to my satisfaction (and that's no easy task).

I have also had previous dealings with Rip, both via Email and the NW BOMBers Website, as well as in person at his shop. Rip IS the real deal!

I might as well chime in and completely agree with all previous posts regarding the service Rip offers. He is the only person I deal with when the need arises!
