I'm trying to decide on getting Rip's 4 inch muffler delete exhaust or Poole's 4 inch muffler delete budget exhaust. I have search the forums and just can't find what I am looking for to compare the two. Which would you guys recommend?

I would really like to see some pictures of the tailpipe on each. Poole's comes out at an angle about 5 inches in front of the bumper is what I was told and I am under the impression Rip's comes out at less of an angle and more towards the rear tire? Is this true? Which exit is better in your opinion and why?

Thanks for the help

heres rip's dualls without muffler, a bit of a pain to install trying to figure out the Y pipe, various hanger positions and tailpipe positions, a simple diagram/picture would shave at least 1/2 hour off the assembly time, but it seems to fit well

Here's a shot of my truck getting "Ripped" with a turbo-back 4 inch system - including muffler and drone eliminating section:

Another shot from a slightly different perspective:

What exactly is the drone eliminating section ?

Also, does Poole have a website ?

After some preinstall discussion with Rip, addressing my goal of avoiding the tendency for exhaust system vibration/drone around 1800 RPM under load, Rip came up with what is essentially a short straight-thru muffler installed a few feet ahead of his own longer straight-thru muffler (seen on the left in the pic below). The end result is absolutely no drone under ANY circumstances, and a very nice exhaust tone/volume that is slightly louder and deeper than the OEM setup.

I have the OEM exhaust and a 3 inch BD exhaust brake. If I go to 4 inch exhaust do I need a new 4 inch exhaust brake or do they make a transition piece to increase size from 3 to 4 inch?

Just check the specs when you purchase, most 4" exhausts are 3" at the turbo then increase to 4" all the way back.
