Finally got my exhaust today as well as a BHAF. Got it all put in except for some good hangers and some tweaking where it hits the frame. Man Rip was right, that transfer case piece was a bear to get in. But when I took the DP off, it slid right in. I'll probably get the local muffler place to put me in a couple hangers, I need some more anyway.



BHAF=HUGE. Much better than that ol K&N. I got the Donaldson B105006, from here --- www.airflo.com.



But MAN she sounds so much better. Quieter in the cab too.

Cool, glad to hear you got the parts in, and thanks for the link, they have some interesting parts there. Even the adapter I want for the carb in my CJ to run a snorkel for 9 bucks.....

Now I wish I hadn't seen the prices on the filters and those cool exhaust parts... . Hey put that card down, no don't enter the number in... ... . the stacks won't work with a camper, put that back! Sorry sometimes the hands get ahead of me when it comes to parts.

I just got one thing to say. RIP IS THE MAN. I was curious as to why I got a intercooled DP, and a 5" tip. I emailed Rip, telling him about my satisfaction with his system and he said that he didn't have any non-intercooled DP's left so he put the more expensive intercooled version in. He also said that he threw the tip in because I had to wait so long. His customer service is number 1 in my book. He's got my business and I recommend this system to anybody with a 1st Gen.

WWWEEEELLLLLLLL, Does it run any better? Difference in Pyro/boost readings? Anything better then quiet? I wish the kit came with 4" downpipe.

I'm not sure if there is much difference in pyro/boost readings, if anything EGT's are down, but not a whole lot. Probably because I had a straight pipe on there before. Although it is a little quieter in the cab, that is not the case outside It sounds so much better than that flex pipe I had before. With the exhaust and BHAF it seems to build boost alot smoother. I think with the all the stuff I just installed; clutch,exhaust, and BHAF; it definitely feels more powerful.



Although it only comes w/ a 3" DP, it has to flow tons better than the stocker, it had dents and some crushed places in it.
