Edge not-so EZ install..

Turn outs or Miter cuts??

I just returned from having Rip Rook's 4" exhaust system installed. I feel it is an excellent system, nice sound, great workmanship and his attention to detail is unsurpassed. If you are getting ready to go bigger, this system deserves a look.

I agree

I've been running Rip's Allied system for the past 11 months.

very happy with the system quality and sound.

Rip's got a new lower cost system too for those who are looking at the bargain systems

I have Rips exhaust on my truck. Did the install myself with no problems. That was last spring and its holding quite well. No rusting and it sounds great. Oo.

Want a good quality product at a fair price? Looking for good customer service and fast delivery? Give Rip a call. .

Rips 4"

I looked at Rips site and see a 4" system listed for $374. 00??!! Is this the system you are talking about? Just want to make sure I understand before I order it?

I have that system with a 5" S/S Magnaflow tip sound great, looks great, and the price is great. I installed myself took 4. 5 hr to remove the old and, save in three pieces to reinstall at a later date, and install the new, only two clamps, welded the rest.

Rip has helped me out on a number of occasions. I'm really happy with his above and beyond service, not to mention my killer 5inch system. Oo.

Rip's 4-inch system Rips (pun intended). It is awesome! Rip installed one with the Allied muffler on my truck in June, 2002. It is, in my opinion, the best sounding system I have heard.

If you are anywhere remotely close to Portland, Oregon, I recommend letting Rip install the system. His workmanship is awesome. He welds all the joints, and then paints all the welds. He is 100% into customer satisfaction, and he sells other goodies too!

BTW, I'm not affiliated with Rip, just a super-satisfied customer!

Zach, I have 5-inch envy

Looks like a nice system at a good price. Have a question that maybe one of you can answer. I intend to add a exhaust brake at some point (ICW transmission upgrade) and want to know if that will effect the installation of a 4" system or will it just bolt on to the brake once it's installed:confused:

If you get a turbo mount exhaust brake, the system will bolt up just as it would on a stock truck.

I have run Rip's 4" exhaust on my truck for about a year. The only thing I don't like is the last piece of pipe you have to put on sets a little low in my opinion . If you get back and look at it it set low. I tried to get it under the truck but it would not go I like the sound and all but the tail pipe sets low.

You needed to cut 2" off the last piece of pipe where it slides in to the hump pipe, that would bring the tail pipe up closer to the bed.

Thanks, I will give that a try. I may have to get a small piece and cut it at a different angle to keep the black smoke off the rr fender but I can do that. Thanks again.
