Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) RIP's Exhaust

I've been running mine for a year without the muffler (resonator still there) and am considering RIP's 4" exhaust with muffler. Anyone got this set-up and does it make it quieter than without stock muffler? Are you satisfied with EGT's. etc. ? If it's quieter than without stock, I might have to get it without muffler.

Any comments would be appreciated.

my neighbor runs stock w/o muffler and my truck is quieter than his but my truck has a more throaty tone.



I love the sound and yes the EGT's do drop quicker with the 4" system.
