Who else is going to be in Talladega next month?

Hi to you all,

I think things went well for those of us who attended this meet/workfest at Kustom Paint in Ft. Collins, Co. We put a VB (DTT) in Eirk's truck and some guages in a very nice looking 2WD. (I am partial to them) (I am bad on names) We drilled and tapped an exh manifold in a 1st gen truck. Jordan's shop hosted and Gerrard (sp?)manned the grill. You served good groceries. The chili was fine. Thanks to all who attended and watched out for me forgetting what I was doing at times. I am glad you all helped. Lets keep these get-togethers informal. I am too tired to remember anything else now, so put in your comments.

Thanks, Bob Berends

Great job, Jordan. It was a very good day. I learned a lot as I think everybody there did. There was a lot of good information passed around and everyone got involved in one way or another. Thanks also to Brant Peterson for making the trip from Kansas.

You guys going to Moab have a good trip.

See you all next time.

I want to say thanks to Jordan and his family for hosting this meeting. The fellowship and food were great and much appreciated. We did a gauge install on my truck and everthing went fine. Thanks to the other members for assisting with the install. It went smooth and I learned a lot. Meetings like that are great to attend and be a part of. You are a very knowledgeable and helpful group of people. Looking forward to the next get together.

Bob thanks for the compliment on my 2wd truck.

I had a great time! Good food, good people, and good diesel, what does a guy need. I made it home about 11:00 cst last night with 824 miles on the trip. Filled up after the meeting 17. 5mpg and this morning 20. 6mpg, I think I had to much fun at the meeting.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the generous comments.

Hope to see you all soon.

Thanks again to the Kloppes, I liked the informal structure, and the food was great. Best of all, despite a couple close ones, nobody got any tickets!

I also would like to thank everyone for their help, especially Bryan and Bob. Bob helped me get the pyro installed (I was the only first gen there) and after we left Ft Collins, I went to Bryan's place and he did some welding repairs on my flatbed for me. It was really a great time and I hope I get to participate in another one before I leave for Charleston SC in June.

Also, if anyone knows Bryan's last name, could you e-mail it to me? I need to send him a little something for the gas and wire he used on my bed.

Later,
Joe
