Dyno Day!!

Guys,

Thanks for the great night. Congrats to Jeff on the new presidency. Just stay away from the interns! :D And thanks to Barry for everything before.

Well, I am finally a member, my first post on the TDR. Thanks for the warm welcome tonight. It was great to see all you guys again.

I hope you didn't mind me bringing Mackenzie along. She is a great sport and does really like these trucks. She steals my keys everytime she can and sure likes picking on the smaller trucks, turning heads, getting other trucks to race us. I am hoping I can talk her into getting one!

Also, thanks for the rides Jeff and Matt. They were awesome. Your trucks give me an idea of what to shoot for with mine. Of course, mine has badges and bumper stickers so it is already fast!!

Thanks again guys, had a lot of fun and loved the smoke out at the end. I will be sure to reply to all the RMTDR posts and be sure to attend all events I possibly can.

New RMTDR member (finally),

I was nice to meet ya. Hope to see more of us at the next meet.

And I'm still blowing black snot balls out my nose this morning from the the soot-fest. Man don't get behind Justin or be the last out of the parking lot, damn. Though I was going to have to feel my way out of the lot till the wind picked up.

Last night was alot of fun! Yep, the smoke fest was a good time. I need to get a chisel or something to get it off my rear quarter panel now :D

I did what I could to take notes on the ideas that were presented last night. Definetely some strong interest from the group that could make it and some really good ideas for events came out of it.

Here is the list I compiled:

-Some sort of Event every month (whether its a get together for some burgers and some barley pops or a full fledge event)

-Website of our own for a calendar of events in the RMTDR area

-Wrench Days (lots of em!! Spread out over the state)

-Trip up to Summit County and Western Colorado. Maybe a driving tour or something of that nature.

-Dyno Days (Events for the TDR and maybe some friendly competitive type events with the PSD and Duramax clubs)

-Test & Tune Event @ Bandimere Raceway (Attend and race)

-Camping Trips

-BBQ

-Attend and possibly have a booth at the National Western Stock Show

(How about a smoke show in the arena? :D )

-Attend PRCA Rodeos (Recruit for new members)

-Charity Events (I. E. donate funds raised from a Dyno Day to a given charity, etc. . )

-Donate time to causes like the Colorado Horse Protection Society & the Horse Rescue Coalition. They need drivers to haul feed and sometimes transport animals.

-More Clinics and Events (similar to the ATS meet in Jan of 03, or the Central Motive Power event during the Truck Fest, etc... . )

-Sled Pull Event- Local deal, small sled so we dont tear up our toys to much!!

This is the list I compiled, if I missed anything please post it here. I am already at work trying to set up some events prior to the end of the year and starting on 2004. All info on what get accomplished will get posted under this forum at this time. Thanks for the great turnout and input everyone. I look forward to a lot of fun with all of you!!

Jeff,

Good luck with the RMTDR. I hope to attend more meetings and events.

Barry did a fabulous job with the group. Hopefully you can take it to the next level.

If you need help in any way let me know.

Big A

Can I get my name added to an email list? I just happened to run across the dyno event today (I hope I can swing by). An email notice would be a big help.

Thanks,

Kevin
