The Motorcycle of my dreams!!

Morning Radio

Why is it ok to tow in the left lane going 55 in a 70 and it is "road rage" for someone to slide over close in front of them?

Towing in the left lane, going 55 in a 70 mph zone is an act of stupidity.

To purposely slide in front of them is an act of anger combined with stupidity, called road rage.

I have been thinking about adding a winshield washer resavoir with pump mounted somewhere under the rear bumper for this; but instead of washer fluid, perhaps a little brake fluid. With a remote switch inside the cab, I could reward idiots with a little wash. What do you think?

ROFLMAO at the rear pisser

Left lane doing 55 in a 65 zone is just a way of life here in NJ.

The thing that really angers people here about that is:

1 They'll do ANYTHING they have to to get in that left lane.

2 Once theyre there, it's "*F* all of you, I own it. "

They actually get mad at you for passing them on the right.

I think people who travel in the left lane longer than it takes to pass a slower vehicle ought to be taken out of their car and pistolwhipped by a trooper on the spot.

Even worse.

Even worse is when your doing 80-85 in the left lane and some joker is trying to pass on the right with solid traffic in front. Then they get around, cut you off and have no where to go. They get to their destination at the same time you do or behind you and risk everybodys lives in doing it.

I guess I'm guilty of passive road rage. I tend to pass and pull in fairly close to people who are driving like retards, however I don't flip them the bird or anything :).

One time driving on the freeway through Kamloops BC I saw two cars parked on the side of the road. Two guys were duking it out right there, full on fisticuffs. IMO that was definitely road rage.

Another side of the coin: Sometimes when towing, the right lane has been so obliterated by the 18 wheelers that you have to hang on to the steering wheel with both hands. I too get upset with folks that drive in the left lane constantly. A lot of folks just done feel like they are on the freeway until they are firmly planted in the inside lane. But when the right lane gets unbareable, I am headed for smoother highway... ... ... .

I agree, but with a condition... usually when I feel I need to run in the left lane, I usually do so with an increased speed (5-10mph faster than what I was running in the right). When driving our diesel pusher (yes, it's a Cummins too) motor home I do this. Some roads ARE unbearable in the left lane, but I'll get over to the right long enough to let everyone by, then I'll get back in the left to keep from breaking the dishes in the cabinets!

I find it is sometimes faster to just drive in the right lane. I often pass many vehicles that get in the center lane or left lanes and just cruise along like they owned the road. I'd like to see a law passed where anyone getting passed by vehicles in the right lane would get a ticket.

I've lived in Germany and visited Europe several times since. I wish American drivers would be more like European drivers by staying to the right lanes except for passing.

Our traffic would flow a lot better if people would just move over and let us through!!

Couple of drivers got into it the other day on the PA pike. One (who has his 12 year old daughter with him) points a gun at the other. They call 911. Cops chase this guy down and arrest him without incident but with guns drawn. About that time the rubber neckers started racking them up in the hammer lane.

LOL this is funny because just the other day down the road from my house at the stop light at a MAJOR 4 lane interection these 3 guys were dukeing it out. LOL it was 2 on 1 right in the middle of the light cars were parked there and everything, everyone was honking but they didnt seem to care the guy that was by him self was just throwing "dogs" left and right and won against the 2 guys comming at him. LOL he would hit one guy and then the other would try to "weasel" in behind him and the the guy would turn around and smak him in the dome too. It was quite entertaining I must say Oo.

The thing that really make me want to go "postal" on idiots is when people pass you on the left (just a two lane rd. ) and then turn left in front of you about 20 yards ahead and make you stop because they have to wait for oncomming traffic to clear. I just @Q$%#$^ &*#^, ok Im gonna snap just thinking about it ;) And yes I have a slight case of Road Rage. How can you not when you drive 40k a year doing deliverys. You see it all!

The same stuff that drives me nuts too.

I'm getting mad just reading these.

Carry two kinds of ammo: Hollow point for face to face, and jacketed for shooting them through the car door!

Here is what I do when a white haired man and his white haired wife are driving 20 mph under the speed limit and keeping me form getting where I want to go. I just think about this guy when he was in his 20's, going through hell for my freedom during WWII. It changes my attitude and I end up smiling and waving at them when I finally get the chance to pass. Try it some time it works. Plus it gets you back intouch with what is really important in life.

Another reason to stay out of the hammer lane except to pass, especially at night, is you hear about these fatal head on collisions in that lane when some drunk gets on the freeway going the wrong way.
