Attention: TDR Forum Junkies just got a call from cummins west in san leandro regarding road relay. looks like it is for real and on its way in about a month. the only thing they (cummins) is waiting on is a mounting bracket for an all-inclusive kit.
cost is (make sure you are sitting down) $950. this includes everything in the package to include all diagnostics AND GPS!!, all hardware to connect and download to a pc and mounting brackets. there is a 10% discount for midrange(sp??) club members.
i asked for the gentleman to check with his manager to see what kind of deal they could offer for a quantity purchase (anyone interested?).
the estimate is 2hrs for installation at $100 per hour (the discount applies to labor as well). there is an extended warranty available on top of the one year manufacturer's warranty, one and two years for $100 and $200.
one thing i didn't ask was if the display was color and if it was pressure interactive like the palm type devices.
