The only reason I was looking at the 7 speed was you dont have to have air to shift. I would like to have a 9 speed but installing a compressor and tank could be a hassle that I might not want.

I looked at the 7spd ratio and it looked like the top end was a little lower than my 5spd. More in the lower ranges though. Kind of hard trying to get the best of both worlds you know, good low end for the grunt work when pulling and having a good top end when you're empty to help the mileage.
