Ok, gentlemen, here is my problem. Sometimes when my truck gets warmed up, it sounds like I have this bodaciously huge fan running under the hood. I don't know if the fan clutch is engaged, but the engine is not overly warm, usually under 200*. It doesn't happen all the time. I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Anyone have any ideas or had this same problem?

Thanks

The clutch is engaging the fan. Or the fan is engaging the clutch. They're married now. That's a joke.

Perfectly normal sound, loud hurricane type wind sounds... it's all good.

The time to worry is when you're dragging a heavy 5th wheel up a 6% grade on a 100 degF day, the coolant temperature gauge starts heading to the right, and you DON'T hear that noise!! :{ :{

Thank you gentlemen! I appreciate your letting me know there isn't a problem with my truck. Now I can go on vacation and relax, knowing everything is cool with the truck!!

Now reflecting back I think the fan will cycle with the air conditioner, defroster,or if it gets warm temps. try turning the selector to pannel or floor position. I believe this will quiet things down
