Here I am

Rob, did you get a new truck?

Tempur- Pedic/ memory foam beds?

Justin Williams (JWilliams3) and I spotted what appeared to be Rob Thomas's new truck @ Scheid. :-laf

Sorry Rob, Justin made me do it! :-laf

Rob, must be using a new method to lift the bed.

Its now pneumatic, instead of hydraulic.

Rob must be economizing on all the Hot air available.

OMG! I just realized something. We have to keep these two trucks separate. Otherwise, there' could be a bunch of little Durangers scooting about.

:D

Fest,

That as bad... :-laf

Alright you freaks, that is not my truck, thanks Mark (shakes fist, LOL), I know Justin put you up to it... ... ... ..... word to the not-so-wise, don't listen to Justin, he's nothing but trouble. :p

Just curious though, how long does that bed take to lift all the way up? What's the cost? I've seen pictures of those before, but they never seemed like they were better than a ram set-up, not to mention they look silly, IMO.

Kid, you should know better, thats a ford, which I would never own, dump bed or not. :D

Don't know about the air up time Rob, as it was on display like that all weekend.

I think your right I don't think that looks very trustworthy. I would only go with a hydrolic ram if I was doing a dumpbed, that just doesn't look safe.

Rob,

We missed you at Scheids.

Not seeing those stacks in the air from ten miles away was quite a different feeling.

I might consider a dump bed someday, if I ever need to haul a load of rocks to some railroad tracks and take pictures of the whole event.

Well,, it's not done yet,, but, all I have to do is finish two bolts on the bumper (need to go to the store to pick up some nuts&Bolts) and get the truck up to operating temperature, cool 'er down, and re-torque the head.

5 days, Cam swap, O-ring head. First time and witout a shop manual,, only a couple good friends. I'll give an update when the truck is really finished,, in about 1-2 hours.
