Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.

This is on my 2010 1500

Buddy of mine sourced me a replacement mirror. Can't get over how expensive these things are, even from a junk yard. This is just a power and heated mirror. I don't want to think of what one would cost with the sensors, power fold, etc. that some have.

I busted my RH mirror 6 months after I bought my truck in Nov 2007. The insurance co. paid for the replacement $200 for the mirror and $200 for labor at the body shop. These mirrors are not cheap.

Yes, they are expensive. I paid $215 for this OEM replacement. I'll install it myself once it arrives (was supposed to be here yesterday but delayed until Monday now).

A piece of black racer's tape will fix it up just fine and save you $$$! Just put one on the other mirror, too, so they'll match.

I may or may not have used duct tape to fix various body damage over the years. In fact, I'm pretty sure that was the only way my old '85 Chevy passed inspection a couple of times.....:D

To me that price seems very reasonable, ever bought a Mirror for an Audi or a Benz?
