So the wife's 01 needs a new radiator. I searched unsuccessfully for an all aluminum aftermarket version that would fit a 2nd gen diesel. Found them for gas trucks, but not diesels:mad:. Went looking for a good deal on a replacement. Locally they ranged from $342 to $465which seemed a bit high. After losing a good deal on E-bay for a Mopar unit, I kept searching. Finally found what I believe to be a good deal at Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto at $259. It was a Prolliance Ready-Rad with reasonable shipping for a total of $273. I was surprised at how quickly it shipped. I was pleased to see that it came with all the clips and rubber mounts I expected to have to reuse from my old unit. It was also nice to see the factory mounting studs for the wiring harness on top of the core. I don't usually have much to say about vendors, but both the Ready-Rad radiator and Rock Auto made a good impression on me and maybe it will save another TDR member a few bucks.
