I just installed my Mach 4 injectors and ARP head studs and need to know the torque specs on the rocker arms themselves. I can't find my service manual CD right now.

Can anyone help me out?

Torque specs for 1999 and up is 27 ft lbs for the rocker arm bolts.

BTW, what are you going to set the valves at?

And did anyone share with you the retorque procedure?

Valves are getting set at 0. 008 and 0. 018 based on recommendations I've seen here on this site. BTW, some of mine were out of the allowed range in the manual  (I've only got 120,000 miles).

I replaced one head bolt at a time starting in the center and working my way outward in a circular motion. Torqued to 90 the first time, then 110, then 120.

One suggestion for those installing studs is to count the number of supplied studs, washers, and nuts before you begin to make sure they are all there :{ I was short one nut and washer, so I have to wait to get one shipped to me before I can finish. I just used a stock headbolt in the front to allow me to torque everything for now. I didn't torque the stock bolt to 120 though

Thanks

The stock bolt torque spec is 90 plus an additional 90 degrees after that which ends up being about 120 ft lbs. I just retorqued me stock head bolts at 120.

After running the engine up to operating temp retorque the stud nuts to 120 ft lbs. Run it for a week, redo. Run it for a month, redo. Then yearly thereafter.
