Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rockport, Corpus Christi, need shop

Would appreciate a shop recommendation in this area. Engine check light has been coming on occasionally on first start in the am. We are camping in the area for the winter.

If you haven't found a repair shop yet, call McAllen Fuel Injection (956-686-2506) and talk to Jim Nordmeyer. He is one of the best in south Texas. If you can't get down there, he can refer you to someone closer. Tell him his cousin Larry in Okla referred you to him. Good luck!

There is also Coastal Diesel in Corpus 361-289-6033. Talk to Jimmy, he is the owner very good people to work with.

Thankyou for the info. Will check it out. Have found a Auto Zone to pull the code and it relates to overboost. Can't figure why that code would show up at start up unless it is indicating a problem again with my Van aaken box. Have turned it off and so far no repeat of the check engine light.
