so the guy that helped make the front bumper does alot of fab stuff so the next project was rock/sliders style protection. (dont rock crawl) but driving in clear cuts and logging areas be suprised how much a 3' long will get you. so we thought and thought and created a Jugernaut of sliders. 3"x4" 1/4 inch square tube was the main runner. wanted the step loops horizontal. welded to the frame. here is his info on the stuff he does. if you have questions on his stuff just call him. he is having some technical gunk going on his website.

not yet started to rain to much. they were 3" bars welded with a round steel disk welded first to the fram then the bars welded to the spacer.

those look great! Did you rino line the lower part of your truck?

yes I regret using Rhino lining I have many problems with the warranty. alot of spots coming off too thin on areas. the dealer that sprayed it is out of buisness likely due to bad work. I would recommend anyone but Rhino. I have sent pictures and letters to Rhino linning about it. the closest spayer is over 150 miles from me and does not want to take on the Job of correcting everything. on my last truck I used this stuff you apply it yourself I will probley end up cleaning roughing up and removing what I need to and use this over what I have on the truck plus this stuff has UV protection.

they look strong. I wouldn't want to try to use them with snow on my boots though. (My shins hurt just thinking about it) He might want to add some kind of traction pads if he is going to start selling them

yes I have thought of this. and then my wife reminded me how can I get in if I'm wearing heels. my first thought was (then dont ride in the truck:-laf) but planning on putting some of the spray in linder on it. just before I do this thinkin of possible either going back and welding on a 1/4 wide flat strip along the top before putting on liner. but yes I can see it now my first drunk friend trying to get up and el whacko on the shin.
