rocky mountain cummins

has anyone dealt with rocky mountain cummins in billings, montana? need a valve adjustment & maybe up my timing.

the guy i talked to on the phone said that since the truck

wasnt stock, not to adjust the timing?

I had RMC (Billings) install the 60# exhaust valve springs, adjust the valves, and check the timing on my truck, which was off from the factory. They adjusted it to factory spec. They also checked full throttle travel, checked the overflow valve, and wastegate pressure. I would ask if they will set timming to other than factory setting. I imagine that they would, but better ask. The mechanic (Jim- don't remember his last name) who did the work sells and installs TST plates on his own time. Not sure if his boss knows that or not. I would recommend them.

Have your timing set to 15. 5° BTDC for best performance. RM Cummins in Missoula will do it for you as long as you are out of warranty. Heard good things about the guys in Billings also.
