HO HO HO!!
Howdy all y'all RMTDR folks! Mike Lockner and I wanted to set up a Christmas Party for all of us Rocky Mountain area types, and we are happy to announce that we're havin' us a Christmas Holiday Lunch Party! Oo.
Dec 5th, 12 - 3 pm - Denver, CO - Bennetts Pit BBQ, at 52nd and Wadsworth.
Mark your calendars and head on to Denver on Dec 5th for a nice lunch/meet and greet with all of the fellow RMTDR members. To clarify - if you're in the Rocky Mountain Region, and you're on the TDR, you're automatically a 'member'. Nothing official needed.
Order from the menu from some of the best BBQ in the area! We have a 65-person room ready for us to invade. Bring a gift, receive a gift - Typically gifts are in the Cummins/Truck/Mopar/Repair/Detail range, and usually not more than about $20 bucks. Be sure to wrap 'em tho - the gift exchange is always a hit, and you never quite know what you'll end up with! :-laf
Bring your photo albums, scrap books, best bench racin' stories, and Santa hats. A lunch was thought of as the best time frame as some folks will be travelling from as far as Cheyenne and Pueblo, and we wanted to try to keep from having anyone driving home in the dark.
RSVP's not required, but please feel free to reply back to this post so we'll have a ball park number to look out for. I have pinged the generation forums as well.
Many more details coming, including detailed directions and the procedure for the gift exchange - yer gonna love it!
Thanks to all of you that have expressed interest in regional and meet/greet events. Mike and I are looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great day. See you then. Oo.
