Ho Ho Ho!!!



Come join the Rocky Mountain TDR and RCC Christmas Party, Dec 1st, 1 pm, Bennetts BBQ, Arvada, CO!!! Oo.



Yeah yeah - I know it's September, but if the stores are prepping for Christmas then we should too!



I have us all booked for a Big Dodge Feast at Bennetts BBQ, Arvada CO, 52nd and Wadsworth just off of I-70.



AND, I am spicing up the event this year - The party is combined with our cousins - the Rocky Mountain Ramcharger Central, many of whom are also TDR diesel heads. The room holds 60 folks, and I know we'll have a great turnout .



Door prizes will be given, and of course, the famous gift exchange will take place after we feed our faces. Details to follow, but for now I just wanted to get us booked at a great place.



FOOD: I opted for their three-meat platter (Beef, Sausage, and Chicken), all the trimmins, and it's all-you-can-eat! :-laf Cost is fixed at $17. 39 per plate, and that includes all taxes and 15% tip - not bad at all.

For the gift exchange, here's how it works



Bring a wrapped gift somewhere in the $20 or less range (doesn't have to be anything major ). We'll hand out tickets and go in order. #1 will go first, pick a gift, open it, say "wow!", and sit down. #2 will go next, pick a gift, open it, say "wow!", and then decide if they like that gift... or the one #1 picked . #2 can steal-I mean take... okay 'trade' with #1 or keep the one they have, then sit down. #3 will go next, open a gift, say "wow!", and then decide if they like that one or the ones picked by #1 or #2, and trade away. This goes on till the last number... at which point... #1 gets to go one last time 8)... and determine if they like whatever gift they ended up with... or... trade with ANY of the gifts. The only hook is a gift may only be traded 3 times, at which point that gift is permanently assigned to the third trader.



It is a lot of fun and a good time, and you get to take home some neat toys.



There will be door prizes and good food - looking forward to seeing all of you in a couple weeks!!

Heading to Denver for the party? Live in or near Colorado Springs? Want to convoy up and back? Well keep a weather eye out for a few of us heading that way.



Be on the lookout for a white/gray club cab 2wd 1st gen with a set of big rear 'snow' tires :-laf. We're planning to meet at the Sears parking lot on the west side of Chapel Hills Mall, departing at 11 am, this Saturday. Might also be a couple of Ramchargers too!



Hope to see a gaggle of ya there, and certainly all of ya at Bennetts this Saturday. We'll have lots of sweet door prizes there too... like free TDR schwag and free Dyno time at KAZ!! Oo !!

After all, we do "officially" belong to the Cummins club now, although it will always be a Ford.

Bummer the pick up won't be ready by then. Not sure when it will be ready actually.
