Archived Rod and Main Bolts for 96- 12v

I am in desperate need of one rod and one main bolt for a 96 12v.

I tore it down and bought new head bolts, but had no idea the rod or main bolts would stretch when retorquing to spsc. That is all I lack before I can button up the engine and reinstall it.



96 2500 4X2 5sp stock 389K mi, temp and boost gages

Can't you get them from Cummins? or do they sell them in sets?

Get me your engine serial number and I will look them up and price for you.



If two stretched I would replace them ALL, without hesitation.

Look at what you are risking.

Thanks for the replys. I have found the bolts. I can get them only from Cummins. If the egale flies on time I should get them tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.
