Each of us is the result of the influence of many people. However some individuals

have played a significant role in our development, They are often called "role

models" that we consciously or unconsciously imitate. Perhaps you know who that

person is, or perhaps you don't.

The world renowned SAMUEL HAIN, Ph. D, has given us a simple way to determine our role

model. It is easy and only takes a minute and it may surprise you. .

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL???*

Be sure not to peek! You don't want to skew your answer. Try this - it's really neat ...

Don't look at the answers:

1) Pick your favorite number between 1-9

2) Multiply by 3 then

3) Add 3, then again Multiply by 3 (I'll wait while you get the Calculator... . )

4) You'll get a 2 or 3 digit number... ...

5) Add the digits together

Now Scroll down ... ... ... ... ... .

With that number, see who your ROLE MODEL is from the list below:

1. Einstein

2. Oprah Winfrey

3. Mother Teresa

4. George W. Bush

5. Bill Gates

6. Jennifer Lopez

7. Brad Pitt

8. Babe Ruth

9. Missouri Mule

10. Barack Obama

OK!!!

According to my Merriam-Webster Dictionary (in which you can find the 'proper' spelling, BTW), jack-***/ n, 1:DONKEY; esp: a male donkey 2; a stupid person: fool.

Who is changing my posts?

Why are you doing it?

I did NOT put the "smilie" in place of the capital "D" in the word Donkey. Can someont please explain, to me, why this is being done?

The word I used for donkey is, actually, in the dictionary that I mentioned. It's a commonly used, & accepted word. I looked up other words that could be assumed to be "cuss" words & they are NOT in the dictionary. This would lead me to assume that this term for a donkey is NOT a "cuss" word.

I've, actually, heard this term used in the Catholic Churches, I go to. The references were to when Jesus & Mary were riding on the back of a Jack (donkey).

I'm surprised to find that a term used in church would be found offensive on this site.

However, if anyone was offended by my feeble attempt at humor, please accept my sincere apologies. In my first reply, I did not mean to insult anyone's sensitivities.

It maybe an automatic program that filters out certain words????? I'm sure no offense to you was meant. Some of the other sites I belong to automatically filter out word that the "fliter" thinks are "cuss words".

I do believe you are correct pullya, jackass may not be allowed because the filter will delete any reference to arse. I used the word ******* once and it was filtered out, so how is a guy suppose to use the term "******* file", I believe TDR changed the filter for "*******" as it will work now, or it used to anyway... we'll see here in a moment:)

Good explanations!!! However, can anyone explain why the "smilie" was put in place of the capital letter "D", in the word DONKEY? I copied this directly from The Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

I, even, tried to "edit" the smilie & the change would not take place. I sure would like to know what is so offensive about the letter "D" that would require it to be changed to a smilie??? If so, would the word Democrat be changed to "smilie"emocrat?

A Mule is half Jack and half horse. The Mule gets its endurance from the Jack and its temperament from the Horse.

The Missouri Mule is a specific breed of Mule. (With a Mssouri Mule you could have less mules to do the same job as more mules of another breed. )

MM, that was a good one, did not mean to hijack your thread, so are you stubborn as a mule??:)As a side note, my mother was born and raised in Mo southeast of St. Louis, my dad met her there during WWII, I remember seeing a picture of my Grandfather on mothers side working a brace of mules, the picture was taken shortly after the war about 1947 which would have been B. M. (that's before me):) I sure which i could find that picture now.
