Gonna be fun. Then from there to Denver I guess. The 2100 miles I drove this last weekend wasn't enough.

My brother and I are coming. Then off to Lawrence in the Morning. Should be a good weekend.

I'm -still- undecided about Lawrence or Denver. Is the sledpull going to happen at Lawrence?



I'm wondering if I can make it to the Denver area in time -- 8 hour drive and a 9am tech -- and now I see in the rules I can't trailer the truck into the sled pull so I have to park and unload someplace then abandon my tow vehicle and trailer.



So Lawrence looks good if they're going to pull. But Truckfest is SO enticing. :-{}



I'll decide about midnight Friday.

Those Lawrence payouts are really good. Honestly, they are much higher than ours will be. I can understand you wanting to go there. I would too if I wasn't so busy!



If you can make to our pulls before they start at noon, I will get you teched in. And I addressed your trailering concerns in the other thread.



Hopefully after this first year of the event, we can start making ours even bigger and get those payouts up to where they should be. The first year is always hard.

The sled pull is NOT going on in Lawrence. The dyno and BBQ is going on as scheduled. Info via CBrabec who was at Floor-it this past weekend.

It's the Platte City payouts; just a mis-type I'm sure but to avoid confusion. I see there's no pull in Lawrence; so I'd like to make it to Denver area if I can. Now I just have to see if I can make the drive. Thanks for the help! It probably will be Friday night when I commit... . either I pull into Lawrence and catch some sleep or cruise on by on my way to Longmont. :-laf
