man, these things are nice. the ride is sooooo much smoother, and she goes soooo much faster on the freeway (as in, the speed limit). all for less than $400 too.

i still need to make some kind of shim that goes around the hub to center them up, but they seem to work well for now.

and all for less than what some folks pay for two darn tires! i'm happier than a pig in slop, i tell you what.

What are those? 19"? Did you find a one time deal or a renewable source? I need to get my 92 rolling on something better than the mismatch that was on it when I got it.

one time deal i think. i found the rims a year and a half ago. was told they were $120 each. went back 6 months ago, showed the new kids where they were, and they sold em to me for 15 BUCKS each!!! waited until now to find the tires. $180 for all six in vegas. 245/70/19. 5 are the way to go. just search high and low, you'll find em. i've heard of junkyards that have stacks of em. some stepvans had the right hole pattern.

I am still looking for a set of the 19" alumn rims that snapon had on their older P30/P40 trucks.

I haven't found a set yet. :(

Swank! That looks great! I regret buying tires a few months ago and not looking harder. My W-350 looks like it "rollin'" on skateboard wheels. Subtle change, but VERY nice!!! Congrats!

The state (Georgia) has some of these on smaller (GM) bus chassis. We have a set on a 4x4 four door C30 Chevy that is Cummins powered. They ARE nice and I really like the looks on your truck. Makes me know that I have to find a set for mine.
