Trailer towing woes!

This looks like the most likely place to ask a few questions. I have a race car trailer and I want to put a roof A/C on myself. Question1: Are the roof vent holes on most trailers a standard 14"X 14" as required for the A/C. The trailer is already wired for A/C so I'm guessing this is the case, but thought I'd ask. Question2: If anyone has done this themselves before, do you know of any tips I should be aware of before I climb up on the roof? Thanks in advance.

Roof air

I put a Coleman unit in an old Explorer motor home I had back in the 80s. The vents are evidently a standard size, I just removed the vent and the wires were already there. Only suggestion I could think of is if you use the trailer in cold weather you might want to get a unit with heat strips. bg

With the install kit, caulking gun w/ sealer, tool box, a few wirenuts and a nice sunny day : you are all set. If the trailer is not well insulated you might want 2 ac units.

Edit: forgot about the muscle to achieve the increase in altitude of the A/C unit.
