Wirinf for brake controller

We have a DISH Pro 500 permanently mounted on our 5th wheel roof. Yep, we can crank her down when moving around. We are thinking of those Dome's that don't have to be cranked up or down and automatically "find" the signal. Would like imput on your experience: Like it?, Hate it?, Does it work in bad weather, etc. Diana

I am interested in how you have Dish500 on your roof. I had a wingard crankup on the roof but it would only look at one satullite. (dish 500 looks at both 110 and 119deg here on the east coast. )

Have customers with them, they all love them. Turn them on & in 8 sec. your witching tv. And no more rapairing the dish from damage!!!

I hear they work very well and have considered one for our TT but the only thing that holds me back (besides the price) is this: If I'm camped out in the open things are rosey, if I'm camped in the trees I could be back to a manual dish on a tripod looking for a signal.

I have a friend that has one in his motorhome & it works great but like brista said in & around trees it is back to the tripod so he still has to carry two set ups. The roof dome & the tripod.

I also have both roof and portable for this reason.
