I've been looking for a lift to put in my shop bldg. I found a 12k capacity Rotary brand. Any one familiar with these lifts?

Yep, I have one in my tire store. Rotary is generally considered one the best brands of above ground hoists. If you like it, buy it.

you cant go wrong with a Rotary lift by far one of the best lift's Ive ever worked off of. very stable and dependable the 12,000lbs lift is a very heavy duty lift, You wont have a problem with A Rotary at all.

We have 3 Rotary and 1 Bendpak at the shop. The Bendpak has had the arms replaced 3 times in six years for sagging. The 3 Rotary lifts function just like they did when new and have never been worked on. These lifts "earn" there money everyday, if it fits through the door we will "lift" it. If i ever put a lift in my shop at home it would be a Rotary, no question.

I totally forgot to mention the asymetrical's very nice!!!!!!

Really nice with cars, but our trucks are so wide, you still have to be carefull, cant open doors real far without hitting. I would definitely buy the larger optional rubber bumpers for both sides to prevent an oops.

Thanks for the info. I am driving over to look at it this afternoon. It's a package deal with some other shop stuff. I need to measure to make sure I have room for everything.

what's all the other stuff... perhaps if you can't/don't want/need it we could talk if it's something I might be interested.

Well they make them about 20 miles from my house, and everyone around here seems to be a bunch of drunks.....

So you should be able to use it drunk.
