Here I am

Rotary Brush or Sickle Mower?

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Paint and stuff

Drill press chuck key

Its interesting to know they supply them now. At the time(and this was a very old, less effective design machine), the fellow I was working for had simply wrapped chain around the tires/rims. It did the job...

Has anyone tried one of these?

A little more expensive, but has the following:

Differential lock.

Steer brakes.

Hand operated Clutch.

Honda engine.

3 or 4 speed gearbox.

Lots of different attachments.

I am thinking about getting one of these with the 30" brush mower. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Update:

Thought I would post an update and what it looks like after the DR Brush Mower has been out there:

The before pic was early Summer and the after pic is middle of winter after a recent snow melt.

Good move on the V-twin kawasaki. I used to do lawncare in the summers for $$$ and one problem we used to have with the older single cylinder briggs motors, was splash lubrication which would be a problem working on that slope for any length of time. They may have gone to pressurized lubrication now, but either way the Kawi is the better motor. Looks like is works pretty good. How long did that take?

How long did that take?
The pic shows the top 1/3 of the area I do and total area is probably an acre. Takes me 5-6 hrs and I will usually do 1-2 hrs after work till its done.

Now that all the heavy brush is gone an not growing back... just field grass & weeds I will use a 4wd ridding mower this spring Oo. Hope that works out to be more like fun than work chasing the DR machine around plus the DR was a 26" width where the ridding mower is 54"
