My a/c rotary knob broke it's innards; now it won't turn the switch behind the panel.

Local dealer seemed clueless in finding one.

It's my 1996 with SLT package.

Anyone know where we can get one?

So you mean the fan speed knob??? Left for A/C, right for non A/C??? Is the switch itself ok or is it starting to turn hard???

Mike.

The dealer couldn't find it?? Wow... ... . Probably the ricer with a fart can that the parts guy drives doesn't have anything like that... ... ... ... :D

So if you want #5 the part number is 04798669. These part numbers may wind up having letters behind it as this fiche is old.

Or if you want #4 the part number is 04882482. Top and bottom large knobs are the same part number.

The fan switch itself does not appear to be sold by itself, part of the heater control assembly.

Be sure and tell them that I am a Parts Manager and therefore am licensed to give counter help all kinds of crap... ... ... :-laf

Also, there used to be a company that sold machined aluminum knobs for the Dodge..... I got several sets for my ranch trucks, as the hands don't know what a gentle touch is when it comes to a truck... ...
