Rotella CJ-4 sample results

Like most everyone else I have been apprehensive about CJ oils, but have been using them for some time now. Changed oil after a 12k mile interval (have been changing every 10k), so decided it was a good time to sample. Received oil results from using Shell Rotella CJ-4 and all looked good. Only suspect condition was viscosity being slightly high. Have probably been using the CJ-4 for about 150k miles now. The two earlier samples were with Rotella CI-4. Guess I'll stick with Shell Rotella CJ.

Was there any make-up oil added in this interval????

No make up oil added on any of the samples.

Looks similar to mine, except for the last UOA I just did... it was a little rough, not bad, just a little rough.



I'm happy with CJ-4 Rotella so far...
