Yesterday I completed a 3-hour drive at interstate speeds. I got home and after an appropriate cooldown shut the truck off. A few hours later I went to move it in the driveway and the idle was very rough. Today I cranked up to run a few errands and the rough idle was still present. Additionally, the truck stumbled on acceleration, whether from a start or while moving. There were no abnormal indications other than it seemed it took longer than usual to warm up to operating temperature but I could be mistaken about that. Once the truck reached normal operating temperature, everything was fine. There was no MIL indication and I drove for another 20 miles or so with a couple of stops without incident.
I did pick up a full tank of fuel at a BP station I have not used previously yesterday before the problem started but I drove 20 or 30 miles with a couple of stops between the fuel stop and home without incident.
This has happened once before, but the rough idle cleared after only a few minutes.
2013 2500 Megacab 4x4. All service up to date. Had the CAT upgrade as a maintenance activity before the recall came out.
Is there anything I should check?
Thanks,
Al
