Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rough idle when hot...APPS??

After running down the highway awhile, when I come to a stop or exit, my truck has a really rough (surging) idle for 5-10 seconds then calms back down. Only does this when the engine is hot, and then not all the time. Does it worse the hotter it gets (pulling a load during the hottest part of the day).



Haven't lost any power, all temps and fuel pressure normal. Could this have something to do with the APPS? Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

You might try....

loosening and retightening all of the ground straps you can find on the truck. That helped a similar problem for a friend of mine.
