I would like to write a few words for my friend Roy from Mag Hytec and his family. Roy is a prime example of the perfect business owner. He is a man that i greatly respect and yet is the exact opposite from who i am. When ever i bumped into Roy at every opportunity he tried to smooth out my rough edges , always with a smile but he tried his best. Roy and his company produce products that are unquestionably the very best and is now standard issue on most of our transmissions and trucks in this diesel industry. This is not only about the Mag Hytec product line that so many of you Dodge ,Ford, and Chey owners are running today but also about a man and his family that many of you may never have had the opportunity to meet.

For those of you that have been to the diesel shows and have had the opportunity to meet Roy & family you know what i am talking about. For those of you that have not let me tell you about this family. They go out to these shows as a family, they always have a smile on their faces and even offer you a piece of candy.

When i look to role models in this industry let’s face it Roy has set the standard for everyone. Excellent product, excellent service and pride in workmanship. May we all aspire to be so well received.

It is with great sadness i am writing this letter as my friend Roy is not feeling well these days. I have been in touch with his son Jerry who many of us have been dealing with for years and it with his permission i am writing this. Please join me in your prayers for my friend Roy and his family and help me convey our deep respect and gratitude for his innovative and timeless products we all so proudly choose to support. I am sure Jerry will convey our thoughts and prayers to Roy.

All I can say I respect my friend Max and I am sure that Rod is in this exclusive gentlemen's club.

It always a pleasure to deal with a true gentlemen and honest person.

I have got Mag-tech Transmission ans rear end covers. They been flawless And one day will probably go for the front cover.

You'll be included in my prayers

Roy,

You'll be included in my prayers. Thanks Bill for bringing this to our attention.

Best Wishes,

Never met Roy, and don't have any of his products... yet. He's in my thoughts and prayers though, and hope him and his family get through it ok.

And just to let you guys know, Bill Kondolay wrote the initial post, not Stefan.

All to often I think we get caught up in these silly forums and forget the importance of what they were set up to do, build friendships on a common bond. Comroderary is too often missed these days. :(

Roy and family,

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May the happest days of your past, be the saddest days of your future. :)

The support of good friends who are often as close as family, can make a big difference in others lives... . I speak from experience...

Like some of the others here, I've not had the opportunity to meet Roy or his family, but the remarks Stefan/Bill made is all I need to wish Roy and his entire family well. Keep the faith, the rest will look after itself. Remember, what you put on the wheel comes around sooner of later. :)

Well I've never had the pleasure of meeting Roy but I know men of the same standard described. Now I don't know if my truck is going to work from one minute til the next but I do know that prayer works and my family will gladly add him to ours.

He's a pretty nice guy, based upon my dealings with him when purchasing the Mag-Hytec. He sent me a paper holder that is on my desk at work after reading a thread post by me on how much I liked the cover. The Mag-Hytec was my very first BOMB. Best wishes to Roy and his family.

Bill . . thanks for the heads up. .

Roy and family will be in our thoughts and prayers also

judging by the no compromise quality of his product he must be a great guy. . I enjoy both of my covers

I'm in total agreement with Bill. I have met Roy and Bernita and their family, and my family and I have become friends with them all because of the TDR and its functions. I met them first at May Madness in 98.

I have met no more more then a few kind, sincere, and honest men in my life. People you could learn from and try to emulate. Roy has to be at the top of the list. He has a wonderful sense of temperature... not degrees F but of relationships, and when the temperature gets too high, he just knows when and how to lower the heat with a quick gesture or remark in a way that's not easy to do. I wish often for that skill... I get too caught up in the moment and loose touch with just how hot it's become and then; it's too late to lower it. Unfortunately, I do not think that it's a skill he could teach me. You must cultivate it and work to become better at it over a lifetime.

I think Bill sees it too, based on his remarks about Roy.

My wife and I often comment," We need to call Roy and Bernita". but we never do. I will tonight!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you sir.

I met Roy when he first came out with the rear end cover. In fact, I got one of the very first ones. I was very impressed with his shop. I used to do vendor surveys when I was in the corporate world and got to be pretty good at analyzing a company when doing one of the vendor tours. Roy's shop was a first rate business - one of the best I ever visited. A real testimony to the man and his family.

I haven't dealt with Roy lately, most transactions have been with Jerry. He is equally talented and has an incredible ability for dealing with customers.

My very best to the family. May God watch over and guide you, Roy.

From the quality of the man came the quality of the product.

Unsurpassed.

The power of prayer is greater than all of man's wisdom combined.

He will be certainly added to mine.
