RPM at idle?

What is the normal rpm at idle? My truck never drops below 800 rpm, maybe this is normal but I was just wondering about it. Thanks

It should be listed on the engine data plate alongside the valve cover. Mine is 750 RPM. At idle at a stop I'm almost always within +/- 5 RPM of that value (pretty good, if you ask me!).

Ditto! Mine is the same as Ryans.

750 rpm, it will ramp up to 1000 rpm.

But only after idling in temperatures below 32 F for 2 minutes with the transmission in neutral or park and the service brakes released.

Thanks for the input guys, it sounds like 750 to 800 rpm is in the normal range.
