Hi all, I was bored doing some super tuning tonight and I decided to do some adjustments on the full fuel screw. I found out that the higher I turned it up, the more unstable the governor became, until the point where with only an inch or so of throttle it would rise to top governed speed... Not at full fuel, however... it would just (relatively) slowly rise in rpm to oblivion at this point, and at the highest point I had it, it would be slow to lower to idle rpm, indicating that I was reaching a runaway condition. I then returned the full fuel screw down incrimentally to the point it allowed me to use the throttle to precisely control rpm (with no uncontrolled rpm flare), all the way up to and past 2600... on a WOT romp, boost is at 28 psi max, egts got up to 1050-1100 max to 75 mph. I then adjusted the kick down cable slightly to remedy the slightly late shifts at w0t. Now at WOT it shifts perfectly right before defueling in each gear. I feel like the drivability is at the max point for me now and power is more controllable and useable than ever.
