RPM reding high, "06 w/ Manual trans. Clutch not slipping

Any ideas what would make my rpm's start reading higher. The clutch is not slipping. The alternator charge gauge is also reading higher. Might the two be intertwined? The rpm's were reading around 1700 at 60 mph and now are reading a tad over 2000. Voltage gauge is reading around 15 volts or more where as before it would read just a hair over 14.

The 06's are known to have faulty tach's. There is a solder that breaks or becomes loose for the tach.

Unfortunately the only fix is to replace the cluster.

Check with digital auto technology in California. They have repaired a few for me and MUCH more reasonable than a new cluster.
