My 96 2500 TD, ext. cab, long bed fills up a whole parking space and still sticks out a bit. I have noticed people like to bump up against my front bumper and that is destroying my front tag/step from Geno's as well as the bumper finish. Does anyone know of any type rubber bumpers to mount on either side to absorb the impact that will look good. I'd back in the parking space, but, I'd like to keep my hitch pointing straight out! Any help would be appreciated.

That's another reason for a front receiver - protection at both ends.

Put a REAL bumper on it. They may think twice next time. :D Mine will leave an impression on them and their car. :-laf Pics in RR gallery. ;)

Surely, I can't be the only one with parking lot issues. Somebody has to have trouble keeping a front tag or the front bumper from becoming somebody's brake stop. Any good ideas? I like the stock bumper and really do not want to change to a stump kicker, although it would change the picture :)! And the chrome spikes would be just plain fun to watch. Last week I watched a new Mercedes bump my truck hard enough to spill tea from my cup holder! Right in front of me. Unfortunately, the driver was a tall blonde beauty toting more female tools than should be legal. All I could get out was "Thank you". Anyway, if anyone knows of a nice looking bumper protector, let me know. Thanks!

I do remember once some fat ***** threw open her door, and it slammed right into the rock rail on my Jeep, folding the edge of the door over. And she had the nerve to yell at me.

HA! I love it... serves her right. I can't stand parking lots for this reason. I always park at the back of the lot where there is plenty of space. . more walking for me, but I don't have a dinged up truck. With trucks as big as ours, it also makes it alot easier getting in and out too.
